What is CBD?

What is CBD and where does it come from?

Originating in Central Asia, the Cannabaceae family of flowering plants has about 170 different species, one of which is Cannabis.  Plants from the cannabis genus (remember your biology class), are grown and used for a number of purposes.  Cultivated as hemp, the plants can be used to produce fiber, oils, as well as edible seeds and leaves.  Other plants from this same genus, such as marijuana, are cultivated and harvested for medicinal and recreational purposes.  Hemp and marijuana are two different types of plants that originate from the same family.  You could liken it to you and your siblings or cousins.  You’re all from the same family, but you’re each different in a number of ways.

Hemp extract is a natural chemical compound that comes from the cannabis sativa plant.  CBD is one of over 100 such compounds, known as cannabinoids, that are found in the Hemp plant.  CBD products have been identified as the most potent chemical in hemp.  Despite its potency,  CBD does not have any psychoactive effects, simply put it does not get the user “high.”

Research studies have shown this cannabinoid can be beneficial for a number of health conditions, in particular, inflammation reduction, treatment for pain, combating arthritis, reducing anxiety, treating sleep disorders and more. (1)(2)  Further research and clinical studies continue, so it looks as though there will be more information regarding practical and medicinal uses with this natural remedy in the future. (3)

How do you use CBD?

There are a growing number of ways to use CBD.  As a natural remedy tincture, simply place the correct quantity of drops under your tongue using the dropper and hold the CBD oil in place for 60 seconds.  For joint or muscle pain relief, my own physician suggested massaging it in the painful area,  allowing the oil to absorb.  There are topical creams and gels also available, which are placed directly on your skin for irritation or rashes.  Energy capsules, energy drinks, coffee combos and more are coming to the market quickly as the benefits of this plant compound become known, more accepted, and widely used.

What’s in Murphy’s Natural Hemp Water Soluble CBD/Curcumin Tincture?

Murphy’s CBD/Curcumin water-soluble tincture contains 99% pure water, pure CBD/Curcumin 560mg Proprietary Isolate – 18.67mg per serving and Zero THC. Unlike other CBD products, Murphy’s Natural Hemp is an all-natural water-soluble source of CBD plus Ayurvedic herbs that have more bioavailability to the body, and because it is water-soluble, it easily dissolves and enters your system quickly, effectively and efficiently.

What’s in Murphy’s Natural Hemp Water Soluble Sleep Tincture?

Murphy’s Sleep Tincture is a water-soluble formula that is more bioavailable than any CBD oil product on the market.  It contains: CBD/Curcumin 690mg isolates; 18.67mg CBD/Curcumin per serving  (Pure water 99% + Pure CBD/Curcumin Isolate);  30mg Melatonin – 1mg per serving; 99.99mg 5-HTP – 3.33mg per serving and 99.99mg GABA – 3.33mg per serving.  Zero THC.  You can take this product under your tongue, add it to water, or to another beverage approximately 20 minutes before bedtime.  Our sleep tincture will help you get to sleep easily and aid you in getting a deeper sleep, leaving you more rested and prepared for the upcoming day.  Since its water-soluble it will easily dissolve, entering your system faster and absorbing more effectively.

Why should I choose Murphy’s Natural Hemp CBD Product Over Other CBD Products?

Murphy’s is literally the “clear” choice when it comes to water-soluble CBD products.  Other companies have made claims that their CBD oils are water-soluble, but oil and water don’t mix.  Murphy’s Natural Hemp uses a solubilization technology that increases the bioavailability to the body.  Our water-soluble products with their high bioavailability make it easy for your body to absorb and transport the proprietary blends throughout the body.  You are receiving the highest quality water-soluble products.  The video below shows the stark difference between our water-soluble product vs other popular oil-based or water-soluble products on the market.  If you have any questions, contact us!

Curcumin & Pain Relief – the short story

tumeric_big

Curcumin has become a commonly stocked item on the natural remedy shelves of your local pharmacies, nutrition centers, and grocery stores.  The spice has long been recognized by holistic and herbal medicine practitioners around the globe for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.   Turmeric and Curcumin are produced by grinding the root or underground stem of the Curcuma longa plant, producing the yellow spice turmeric, curcumin is a compound found within turmeric.  Past research studies have shown that turmeric/curcumin has anti-inflammatory properties and helps in strengthening the immune system.

Despite the availability, research studies and common use, I just haven’t been ready to take the leap into using this spicy remedy.  Instead, I decided to first put a shout-out to see if anyone I know has personal experience with the spice and if they’d be willing to share.  Almost immediately, people started responding, saying they use it, and with good results.  Here’s what they had to say:

Interview with Megan:

Me: Hi Meg, So what made you turn to Curcumin/Turmeric as a natural remedy? And did you research it before you bought it?  I’m a fence sitter and haven’t decided if I should use it or not.

Megan: I’d been taking over the counter products for my joint problems, and they didn’t seem to be helping much, so I started researching different articles on the net, read through some nutritional websites, and watched a few holistic medicine YouTube videos.  They talked about its effectiveness, and recommended the spice as a natural remedy.  So I decided to give it a try.

Me: How do you use the spice?  Do you put it directly on food?

Megan: I bought the combination Curcumin/Turmeric capsules.  My son uses the spice as well, putting it directly on his food.

Me: How long have you been using this natural supplement?  Have you noticed any differences?  And if you have, what kind?

Megan: I have been taking this supplement for about three months now and yes, I’ve definitely noticed a difference!  Probably the biggest difference, is that my joints don’t ache any more, at all. No pain.

Me: Wow, that’s fantastic!  What milligrams of the spice do you use on a daily basis?

Megan: It’s a combination of turmeric and curcumin capsule.  I take 500 mg once a day.

Me: What would you like others to know about this natural remedy, and its use from your perspective?  Is there anything else you’d like to share with us about your experience with using curcumin/turmeric?

Megan: I recommend it, just because of the success I’ve had with it, and also recommend that other’s give it a try before turning to NSAIDS or other anti-inflammatory medications.  I tore my meniscus 20 years ago and had been taking glucosamine chondroitin for the constant swelling.  It helped a little bit, but wasn’t consistently effective.  In just 3 months of taking the Curcumin/Turmeric combination, I no longer have any swelling in my knee.   I’m having the same results with the joints in my hands, they used to swell up and ache in the mornings, and I’m no longer experiencing that as well.

I was surprised to hear about the successes she’s had and realized she was the perfect person to interview because she’s fact-based and researches anything before she moves forward with it.   I thanked Meg for sharing her story and found several others had responded with similar positive feedback.

Shortly after the interview with Meg, I received an email from a work colleague sharing his experience with using the spice as a natural remedy for back pain:

“Because of an injury to my back I was in constant pain.  It was especially painful when trying to stand up.  I began getting Curcumin injections after several recommendations from people I know that had also received them for inflammation.   Once I started the Curcumin injections the pain subsided, and I no longer suffered the chronic pain that had been ongoing for almost 20 years.  It’s good stuff.  It’s made a huge difference in my life and what I can do without being in constant pain, or wouldn’t even try to do because of the fear of the pain it would cause later.”  ~ MS

Mary from West Chicago, Illinois:  Golden Milk Osha Key“I take two or more capsules daily.  Also, have made golden milk paste and added that to any kind of milk.  I also mixed the paste into soft boiled eggs.  I have been taking them for over a year. My knees and thumbs were always sore, but much better now.”

RO from Chicago, Illinois: “My wife swears by it for inflammation and pain. Takes it every day”

DC from Portland, Oregon: “I put it in my oatmeal every morning, and also take a capsule form daily for inflammation.”

BZ from New Jersey: “I put it into food sometimes.  I just put some into some [homemade] lotion bars as well.  I don’t use it frequently enough to make a strong claim, but I do notice the sharpness of my joint pain eases when ingested.”

Every couple of hours, I receive another response from a friend, family member, work colleague or reader telling me that this natural remedy works on inflammation and pain.  Even my internist is recommending it for arthritis and Fibro pain.  And if there’s any more evidence needed, a more recent study done in 2017 concluded: “… that curcumin can help in the management of oxidative and inflammatory conditions, metabolic syndrome, arthritis, anxiety, and hyperlipidemia. It may also help in the management of exercise-induced inflammation and muscle soreness, thus enhancing recovery and subsequent performance in active people. Also, a relatively low dose can provide health benefits for people that do not have diagnosed health conditions.” (1)

Looks like I’m jumping off the fence into the Curcumin pond!  Do you use this natural remedy?  How has it helped you?

G’Night, sleep well – the natural remedy approach

GnightYou’ve come to the end of another productive day.  It’s time to slow down, to rest and relax… and you can’t.  Your head hits the pillow, your mind is still working, the anxiety about not getting enough sleep rolls in, tossing and turning, counting llamas (or the furry  creature of your choice), reciting a list of positive affirmations in your mind… despite all your best efforts it’s now dawn and you’ve experienced another night of poor sleep.

There are remedies.  Physicians often prescribe a pharmaceutical or may recommend an over-the-counter sleep product, but these medications can come with nasty side effects like, dizziness, daytime drowsiness, dry mouth or throat, burning or tingling in the hands, arms, feet, or legs, changes in appetite, constipation or diarrhea.  Some individuals have even complained of sleep walking, or worse yet, sleep shopping and not remembering it!  (Yes, I have a friend who did this. Several times.)  Murphy’s Natural Hemp has an all natural sleep remedy, specifically designed to help take you into a deeper, more restful sleep.

Our CBD sleep-aid product is the natural approach you’re looking for, without the side effects that typically come with using prescription medications or the over-the-counter quick fix.  Unlike oil-based products, Murphy’s Natural Hemp Sleep Aid, which contains CBD & Curcumin, 5-HTP, GABA, and Melatonin, is a water-soluble formula that is quickly and effectively absorbed by the body.

What’s in our product and how does it help you fall asleep?

sleep-aid-bottle-600x600-1CBD/Curcumin:

Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of over 100 cannabinoids, that are found in the cannabis sativa plant.  It does not get the user “high.”  CBD has become increasingly popular over the last several years for treating patients with insomnia, pain, anxiety, IBS, arthritis and more.  It is believed that CBD works with the body’s own network of receptors, called the Endocannabinoid System or ECS, in assisting the natural processes that are responsible for calming the central nervous system, and reducing the stress response. (1)(2)

Curcumin, one of the main ingredients of turmeric powder, which is harvested from the turmeric plant by grinding up its root,  is recommended for its multiple health benefits, which appear to act primarily through its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory mechanisms.  Ongoing research is proving the spice to be effective in patients with arthritis, fibromyalgia, IBS, and lupus.  By decreasing inflammation and pain in the body, a more restful sleep is possible.

5-HTP

5-Hydroxytryptophan, commonly known as 5-HTP is a naturally occurring amino acid that works in the brain and central nervous system to aid in the production of the chemicals serotonin and melatonin, two of the most important brain chemicals for regulating the sleep/wake cycle.  This means that supplementing 5-HTP will boost both serotonin and melatonin. (3)

GABA

Gamma aminobutyric acid, or GABA for short, is a naturally occurring amino acid that works as a chemical neurotransmitter in your brain.  GABA blocks certain signals in the brain, decreasing activity, which as a result produces a calming effect with anxiety and stress, both contributors to sleepless nights. (4)

Melatonin

Finally, Melatonin is a hormone naturally produced within the body, that plays a major role in the body’s circadian rhythm or “body clock.” It is naturally produced in greater amounts as twilight approaches in order to help us fall asleep.  Produced and secreted by the pineal gland, Melatonin levels rise and fall between twilight and sunrise, with levels going up around 9 p.m., peaking during the night and staying high until dawn, finally dropping off around 9 a.m.  During the day, Melatonin hormone levels are almost non-existent.  Instead, other stimulating hormones, like cortisol, take over to keep us actively moving through the day.  Studies suggest this supplement helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep. (5)

Murphy’s Natural Hemp Sleep Tincture contains the perfect combination of  the ingredients that will assist you in getting a good night’s sleep.   You can take this product under your tongue, add it to water, or to another beverage, approximately 20 minutes before bedtime.  Our sleep tincture will help you get to sleep easily and aid you in getting a deeper sleep, leaving you more rested and prepared for the upcoming day.  Since its water soluble it will easily dissolve, entering your system faster and absorbing more effectively.  This water-soluble product also helps in avoiding the heavy feeling that oil-based products cause due to the large amounts of calories and fat content.  Our sleep tincture contains ZERO calories and ZERO grams of fat.  *Zero THC

Melatonin – An effective sleep supplement

Exhausted with coffee cup - Cassidy Kelley

Are you sleeping well… or just trying to stay awake with caffeine and energy drinks?  According to The National Sleep Foundation, it should take 15 to 20 minutes to fall asleep.  Then, after falling asleep, a sleeper should typically move through four stages: one, two, three, and REM, or rapid eye movement sleep.  Each stage of this cycle should last between five to fifteen minutes, completing in approximately 90 minutes, before it starts all over again.  A key hormone in regulating this natural sleep cycle is Melatonin.

Produced and secreted by the pineal gland, Melatonin levels rise and fall following twilight and sunrise, with levels going up around 9 p.m., peaking during the night and staying high until dawn, finally dropping off around 9 a.m.  During the day, Melatonin hormone levels are almost non-existent.  Instead, other stimulating hormones, like cortisol, take over to keep us actively moving through the day.

Sleep deprivation as a result of working night-shifts, jet-lag, trouble falling asleep (delayed sleep phase syndrome), broken sleep, or insomnia affects the ability to fully function during the day.  Sleep deprivation symptoms may include:

  • Daytime drowsiness
  • Micro-sleeps while being awake (falling asleep while driving)
  • Inability to think or react clearly
  • Anxiety
  • Mood changes

In addition, research published by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has shown that lack of sleep contributes to numerous health problems, “not getting enough sleep, or getting poor-quality sleep, increases the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, and diabetes.” (1)

Sleep prescriptions and over-the-counter products are effective, however, side effects from regular use can include daytime sleepiness, dry mouth, and dizziness.  Additionally, some medications may gradually cause memory problems.  The use of Melatonin supplements has been shown to synchronize the body clock, or circadian rhythm, improving the time it takes to fall asleep and contributing to deeper, restful sleep periods.

Melatonin offers an alternative treatment to the currently available pharmaceutical and over-the-counter products for sleep problems with significantly fewer side effects.  Murphy’s Natural Hemp Sleep Tincture contains the perfect combination of compounds that will assist you in getting a good night’s sleep.  In addition, because of the water-soluble properties of Murphy’s Natural Hemp, lower dosages of the tincture will provide the same effects as products that are not water-based.  This video proves the vast difference between our water-based tinctures and other oil-based or water-soluble tinctures.

GABA – A natural approach to better sleep

Gamma-aminobutyric acid, or GABA for short, is a naturally occurring amino acid that works as a chemical neurotransmitter in your brain.  GABA blocks certain signals in the brain, decreasing activity, which as a result produces a calming effect.  This can help with anxiety and stress, both contributors to sleeplessness.  A study conducted in 2018 showed supplemental GABA improved sleep quality, and without the adverse effects associated with prescribed sleep medications. (1)

Chamomile and Face - BillieMedicinal plants high in GABA include chamomile flowers, feverfew, linden flowers, and passionflower.

Passion flower - contains GABA - Andrew Pons

In addition, GABA studies have been conducted in regard to how this amino acid affects the gastrointestinal system, or “gut.”  Gut flora is crucial in keeping the immune system functioning properly and communicating with the brain.  Philip Strandwitz and his colleagues at Northeastern University Boston reported in 2016:

“Bacteria have been discovered in our guts that depend on one of our brain chemicals for survival.  These bacteria consume GABA, a molecule crucial for calming the brain, and the fact that they gobble it up could help explain why the gut microbiome seems to affect mood… GABA acts by inhibiting signals from nerve cells, calming down the activity of the brain, so it’s surprising to learn that a gut bacterium needs it to grow and reproduce.  Having abnormally low levels of GABA are linked to depression and mood disorders, and this finding adds to growing evidence that our gut bacteria may affect our brains.” (2)

Wow!  Research and studies of this significant amino acid and its health benefits in treating insomnia, anxiety, and depression continue.  With GABA level’s being linked to better sleep, Murphy’s Natural Hemp has combined the perfect mix of compounds that will assist you in getting a good night’s sleep, CBD/Curcumin, Melatonin, 5-HTP, and GABA.  In addition, because of the water-soluble properties of Murphy’s Natural Hemp Sleep Aid, lower dosages of the tincture will provide the same effects as products that are not water-based.  This video illustrates the stark contrast between our water-based tinctures and other oil-based or water-soluble CBD products on the market.  Murphy’s Natural Hemp is clearly the better choice!

Sleep Benefits of 5-HTP Supplements

Man sleeping - by Arthur Savary

Tossing and turning, sleepless nights, waking up exhausted and anxious knowing you face another work day… insomnia is incredibly frustrating, with the lack of sleep affecting every aspect of life.  5-HTP is a natural remedy that may help you sleep deeper and stay asleep longer.

A number of studies done over the last two decades found 5-HTP helps with insomnia and improves overall sleep quality. (1)  It is not found in food but is created from another amino acid, tryptophan, which can be found in high-protein animal foods like meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, and eggs.  Supplements of 5-HTP are typically produced from a woody African shrub called Griffonia simplicifolia, which seeds contain 20% of the amino acid.

Research has shown that 5-HTP can assist in shortening the time it takes to fall asleep and increase sleep amounts with fewer side effects than sleep medications.   5-HTP can be beneficial in easing symptoms of stress and anxiety, which also interfere with sleep patterns.  This supplement has also been used for depression, anxiety, headaches, fibromyalgia, obesity, PMS, ADHD, and Parkinson’s.

Currently, there is no recommended daily allowance for 5-HTP.  Most individuals take between 25 and 100 milligrams per day, starting with a lower dose of 25 mg and moving up to a higher dose as needed. This video proves the vast difference between our water-based tinctures and other popular oil-based or water-soluble CBD products on the market.

Before taking any supplement, be sure to consult with your physician.  Documentation indicates that the use of 5-HTP supplements should not be combined with antidepressants or MAO inhibitors.  You should not take with ephedrine or pseudoephedrine, common in many over-the-counter cold remedies. (1)

Say Yes! to Murphy’s Water Soluble CBD/Curcumin Products: Seeing is Believing

Oil and water don’t mix.  Murphy’s Natural Hemp is an all-natural water-soluble source of CBD plus Ayurvedic herbs that have more bioavailability to the body than other hemp oil products on the market.  But don’t just take our word for it… see for yourself!

Obviously, Murphy’s Natural Hemp is the “clear” choice.  For more information or to purchase one of our products you can find us at https://murphysnaturalhemp.com/

Cannabinoids Wheel – What to Use

Plants have been used as medicines for thousands of years.  “The oldest written evidence of medicinal plant usage for preparation of drugs was found on a Sumerian clay slab from Nagpur, approximately 5000 years old.  It comprised 12 recipes for drug preparation referring to over 250 various plants, some of them alkaloid such as poppy, henbane, and mandrake.”  There are many other references to ancient plant use throughout history, for instance the Chinese book on roots and grasses ‘Pen T’Sao,’ from 2500 BC lists dried parts of medicinal plants that were used as medicine.   The Vedas, the Ebers Papyrus, the Bible, Homer’s Illiad, and other historic texts mention botanical and herbal medicines. [1]  It is very likely that humans have used plants as medicine for as long as we have existed.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is harvested from both the cannabis and hemp plants.  It is known largely for anxiety and pain relief as well as muscle relaxing properties.  As an isolate without the THC component, CBD becomes a non-psychoactive compound, producing zero to .03 percent THC.

Both the cannabis and hemp plant cannabinoids have been vastly researched and reported as being beneficial for a number of medical needs.  Pain, sleep, gastrointestinal illnesses, mood and behavior disorders, neurological disorders and more.  The illustration below provides a guide for the major cannabinoids and how they may help with a variety of medical conditions.

CBD-THC Medical Use Wheel

  • Tetrahydrocannabinolic Acid (THCA)
  • Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
  • Cannabidiolic Acid (CBDA)
  • Cannabidiol (CBD)
  • Cannabinol (CBN)
  • Cannabigerol (CBG)
  • Cannabichromene (CBC)

CBD Use for Fibromyalgia

what-is-fm.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain disorder that causes musculoskeletal pain in addition to fatigue, anxiety, cognitive issues and more.  Research has shown it involves changes in the body’s neurotransmitters, the substances that allow nerve cells to communicate with one another.  When the substances are released in the right amounts at the right times, the body functions properly.  When the neurotransmitters go haywire, the system malfunctions.  There’s no cure for fibromyalgia.  Current treatment options focus on pain management, diet, exercise and cognitive therapy.  However, in recent years, science has discovered that all mammals have a natural pain management system called the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) that creates natural anti-inflammatory and painkilling effects.

The body’s ECS is made up of three components: cannabinoid receptors (the things that receive chemical signals outside the cell), endocannabinoids (small molecules that activate cannabinoid receptors), and metabolic enzymes that break down endocannabinoids after they are used.  “All vertebrate animals [naturally] express at least two cannabinoid receptors.  The CB1 receptor principally functions in the nervous system but is expressed in many cells throughout the body.  CB2 receptors are primarily associated with cells governing immune function.”(1)  Researchers believe that CBD compounds may positively interact with these receptors.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is becoming more widely used by individuals living with fibromyalgia because of its therapeutic benefits, and Murphy’s Natural Hemp customers have begun sending in testimonials of their own about its effectiveness on pain:

Testimonials:

December, 2018: “After years of neck pain and waking up stiff and sore, I tried Murphy’s Natural Hemp CBD with Curcumin. In 2 days, I started feeling the effects of the CBD and Curcumin Tincture from Murphy’s Natural and have been enjoying the results for 3 months. I cannot imagine ever being without this wonderful product…Thanks Murphy’s Natural Solutions” ~ P.B.

January 2019: “I have suffered from chronic pain throughout my lifetime. Three years ago, my doctor prescribed a medication for my fibromyalgia symptoms. While this prescription medicine helped ease my pain, it caused unwanted side effects, such as numbness and loss of coordination. Since that time, I have been seeking natural remedies to relieve my pain. This search led me to discover Murphy’s Natural Hemp products. These all-natural products have worked wonders! Within two months of taking daily doses of both the daytime and nighttime formulas, I have experienced less pain and swelling, as well as improved sleep quality. I have also been able to reduce the amount of prescription medicine I take on a daily basis. This has helped alleviate the numbness I previously experienced and my coordination has returned to normal. Most importantly, I have been able to become an active participant in my family’s life again! Thank you, Murphy’s Natural Hemp, for helping me improve my quality of life (as well as my family’s)!”  ~  KR

Should you decide to use CBD products for pain management, or for any other medical condition, always contact your doctor first to be sure there are no interactions with medications you may be taking.  For more information or to purchase Murphy’s Natural Hemp, go to https://murphysnaturalhemp.com/.

“Prohibition” is Over

cannibus plant

Did you know that at the beginning of the last century, extracts of the cannabis plant were used as a natural remedy… and available at every chemist’s business?  However, this practice was discontinued in the 1930’s and the plant taken off the chemists shelves because of the “high” individuals received as a result of the THC component.

Hemp is back.  A 2018 cross-sectional study of 2,409 participants revealed 62% of respondents using CBD to treat a medical condition, with the top three medical conditions being pain, anxiety, and depression.  In addition, 36% of the participants reported CBD treating the condition “very well” by itself, with no additional meds or supplements.

Cross Sectional Study of Cannabidiol Users 2018 study

The conclusion of the study states: “Consumers are using CBD as a specific therapy for multiple diverse medical conditions-particularly pain, anxiety, depression, and sleep disorders. These data provide a compelling rationale for further research to better understand the therapeutic potential of CBD.”1

According to, Eileen Konieczny, RN, “In it’s cocktail of cannabinoids, there is proportionally more CBD in hemp than in cannabis; hemp naturally produces a higher proportion of CBD as compared to other phytocannabinoids, like THC.” She continues, “You can think of it as a giant pie chart of phytocannabinoids, where in hemp’s pie chart, the CBD slice is bigger than in cannabises.  This is one of the reasons hemp has become such a popular source of CBD, and has led in turn to an industrial hemp farming revival here in the U.S. after decades of prohibition.”

“Prohibition” is over.  Murphy’s Natural Hemp pairs the benefits of CBD with the powerhouse spice, Curcumin.  Curcumin is receiving worldwide attention due to its multiple health benefits, which appear to act primarily through its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory mechanisms.  It is one of the main ingredients of turmeric powder, which is harvested from the turmeric plant by grinding up its root.  Research of Curcumin has shown promising effects in patients with various pro-inflammatory diseases including cancer, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, ulcerative proctitis, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, irritable bowel disease, peptic ulcer, gastric ulcer, gastric inflammation, psoriasis, and lupus.

CBD and Curcumin Together

Widely researched, these potent anti-inflammatory agents together in a pure water-soluble product may provide you a powerhouse against health challenges.  With our bodies consisting of up to 60% – 70% water, an oil-free, water-based CBD and Curcumin product is optimal.  Murphy’s Natural Hemp complexes are the answer.  With our water-soluble products, which are easily and quickly absorbed, the body typically utilizes 90% or more of the ingredients.  This makes our products stand out among the rest!
